Frank Kleeman is a life long resident of California.  He and his wife Charlotte moved to the Santa Clarita Valley in 1965.

Frank served in the United States Navy for four years and after discharge he was later commissioned as an officer in the California Air National Guard where he served for a number of years.  He had a varied career thereafter in the casualty insurance field.  His principal career until his retirement in 1997 was as one of the senior partners in the Knights, Feldman & Kleeman law firm specializing in the defense of employers and their insurance companies.  He later became a Judge in the WCAB.

Frank has been very active in community affairs over the years including positions on the governing board of the SCV Boys & Girls Club.  He presently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the COC Foundation where he chairs or participates in several committees associated with the Foundation.  He is President of the board of the Santa Clarita Repertory Theatre and also serves on the board of the Pasadena Playhouse.  He is a member of the Newhall Redevelopment Committee that is charged with, among other things, the revitalization of Old Town Newhall.

Frank has been named 2002 Santa Clarita Valley Man of the Year and the 2002 Santa Clarita Valley Elks Lodge Man of the year.  The Network of California Community Colleges named him and his wife Charlotte Philanthropists of the Year 2002.

He is married to Charlotte and they have two children, Jeff and Shari, and two grandsons.
