Closed Sunday McKenna & Greene, home, garden & gift shop is the perfect example of how a negative can be turned into a positive. Co-owners Nanette Ferrara & Beth Hetu were both long-term employees of Robinsons-May. When Macy's took over in 2006, they were given their walking papers after working for more than 25 years each in the Robinsons-May advertising department.
Instead of re-locating or looking for other corporate positions, they decided to pull their resources and funds and follow their dream to open a gift shop in their own backyard.
Both long-time residents of Santa Clarita, Beth and Nanette felt there was a need for a full-service gift shop which offered affordable goods combined with friendly, personalized service. Just three months after they were laid-off, McKenna & Greene opened on October 25, 2006.
 When you visit McKenna & Greene you'll discover some truly unique and eclectic items to the Santa Clarita Valley. McKenna & Greene has an extensive line of handcrafted sterling silver and gold-filled jewelry from major American designers, plus French ceramics, iron, textiles, handmade paper goods, soaps & lotions, candles and much more. Unique to gift shops in the area, McKenna & Greene also carries the only full-scale collection of Stonewall Kitchen provisions, including The Food Network celebrity chef, Ina Garten, The Barefoot Contessa line of gourmet delights. They also carry Bella Cucina Artful Food, an Italian line of pestos, antipasti, biscotti and dolce (dessert) sauces.
McKenna and Greene is located at the southwest corner of Seco Cyn. Road and Copper Hill Drive in the CVS plaza. They open at 9:30 Monday-Saturday and offer complimentary gift wrap.
