Detectives from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who approached and assaulted a female victim at 12:20AM on Saturday July 28, 2007. The victim was walking in the area off Dockweiler Road in Newhall, when she was approached by the suspect. The suspect held a knife to her throat and dragged her approximately 15 feet until two citizens approached and the suspect fled.
