Hoshi means “star” in Japanese. We named it because we want “Hoshi” to become a “shining star” in Santa Clarita.

Yakiniku is a Japanese style of cooking meat and vegetables over charcoal. It originated in Korea, featuring Korean style BBQ meats. Hoshi BBQ, like other Yakiniku restaurants offer Korean side dishes, Kimchi (a unique Korean style of seasoning) & Namul (cooked vegetables).

Bi-Bimbob, Bulgogi and various Korean influenced salads are the usual fare at most Yakiniku restaurant, including Hoshi BBQ in Santa Clarita.

Hoshi brings out several unique experiences of Japanese style BBQ, including Yakiniku, which many people in Santa Clarita have never experienced. Hoshi also offers a great atmosphere for dining and drinks.

Besides the Japanese style BBQ, Yakiniku, visitors of Hoshi BBQ will experience Korean style marinated BBQ, Bulgogi, and the most popular Korean specialty, Bimbob and Kimchi, which has become a “Korean food mania” in other parts of the world.

The unique experience at Hoshi BBQ is cooking your own BBQ on your tabletop with charcoal. Using charcoal for your BBQ brings out more tastes of Yakiniku. Cooking your own meal may seem odd, the first time. However, very soon, you’ll discover the pure fun of this experience, as you participate in Yakiniku BBQ with friends and family.

Hoshi’s charcoal grill menu includes meat and seafood. Various marinated beef, pork and chicken are the most popular items in Hoshi’s menu. Harami miso, skirt steak with strong miso seasoning, basil chicken, spry pork seem the most popular and enjoyable dishes. Hoshi’s own marinated shrimp and scallops also are very tasty. Delicious seafood, including salmon with butter garlic and sea bass with green sauce also can be grilled on your own BBQ tabletop.

Hoshi BBQ in Santa Clarita offers a great atmosphere for dining and drinks with a beautiful and comfortable interior. From the menu to the wall of Hoshi, which is made of copper. The golden color of copper makes Hoshi BBQ beautiful because it is shiny and its color also appears to change from the fire in your grill. Dining on the Hoshi BBQ tabletop, made of exotic marble, gives you a taste of elegancy. Seating is all separated, which creates a sense of privacy and comfort.

Hoshi BBQ offers not only Japanese Yakiniku, but also Korean style marinated BBQ, Bulgogi, and the most popular Korean specialty, Bimbob and Kimchi. Bulgogi and Galbi are marinated with Korean style seasoning. Bimbob, rice dishes, mixed with vegetables and beef, seems to draw Korean food mania. Hoshi BBQ also makes its own Kimchi every week, which makes it very fresh and tasty.

So for a truly unique dining experience, visit Hoshi BBQ, in the center of Santa Clarita in the Ross Shopping Center on Bouquet and Newhall Ranch Road.
