Join us for the 15th annual Relay For Life of Santa Clarita Valley. This year is a BIG one as we celebrate the 100th year of the American Cancer Society. Come out with your family & friends and experience great food, music and a whole lot of fun. All donations made at Relay go directly to the American Cancer Society so that the mission of helping people Get Well, Stay Well, Find Cures and Fight Back continues on.
We will be at Central Park on Bouquet Canyon Road. Our 24-hour event starts at 10am with our “Celebrate” ceremony where we ask cancer survivors to come out and take the first lap around the track to kick-off Relay. Throughout the day our teams have games and information about how you can fight back against cancer. You can get a Luminaria bag to honor or remember a loved one, shop at our Relay store, enroll the kids in Kids Camp while you walk a lap or two around the field. Then stick around for our “Remember” ceremony at 9pm as we light up the Luminaria bags and walk around the track to read the thousands of messages written on them. We continue well on through the night with teams hosting movies, midnight games or quietly walking around. As the sun rises, we will have our annual Pancake Breakfast to help our Relayers wake up. At 9:30am on Sunday, we have our “Fight Back” ceremony where we pledge to continue to help eliminate cancer. We finish Relay at 10am with our final team lap.
