Art Exhibit and Reception-“Beauty of the Earth”

An art exhibit began last week at Canyon Theater Guild featuring works of award winning photographer, Glen Glancy.  An Artist Reception will be held Thursday, October 16 from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm where the public is invited to meet the Artist and view the exhibit.  Images will be on display for viewing now through October 25^th.

Glancy, is an active member of the Santa Clarita Artist Association and the Santa Clarita Valley Photographers Association.  His work has been recognized in numerous competitions.  (See full Glancy Bio and headshot, attached.)

In this current exhibit, Glancy has captured the stunning beauty of Mt. Rainer in the Spring, the Grand Tetons both Spring and Fall, and other majestic landscapes of the West.  These include Bryce Canyon, Zion, Yosemite, and Aspen.  There are also images from our California coastline.  (See attached sample.)

Glen’s goal in photography is to share the beauty of God’s earth with others.  “I love capturing the fabulous landscapes of the West.  It’s exciting to have the opportunity that this exhibit provides to share those images with friends and community,” said Glancy.

The Canyon Theater Guild hours for the exhibit are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10 am – 5 pm; Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 11 am – 6 pm.
