Olga Kaczmar will hold an artist’s reception at Canyon Theatre Guild, from 4-7 pm, for the public to view the art in the Hallway Gallery. Refreshments will be served.

The art exhibit will run concurrently with a musical play, which draws you back to the sixties. Hairspray, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, is a family-friendly musical piled bouffant-high with laughter, romance, and deliriously tuneful songs.

Entertainment will be provided by Manak Khamvongsa, Santa Clarita guitar teacher and performer.  His solo repertoire includes traditional classical Spanish guitar, jazz arrangements and original compositions. Originally from northeast Thailand, Manak has performed and studied music in Boston and Los Angeles. 

The exhibit will run through March 23 – April 21 and will comprise an eclectic  array of oils and watercolor  including: landscapes, florals, animals and children. To preview her work and read her bio, see: www.olgakaczmar.com.  

Kaczmar, a member and past president of Santa Clarita Artists’ Assoc., teaches watercolor classes through the City of Santa Clarita Seasons catalog and teaches drawing at Golden Oak Adult School.
