This early walk will get you warmed up for the Special Olympics Santa Clarita Valley Annual Polar Plunge. If you are taking the Plunge, you’ll be helping Special Olympics Santa Clarita Valley reach out and provide year-round training and sports programs for youth and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Our warm-up “Go Jump in the Lake Walk” will take us out to the start of the “Snow Stumper Trail”, turn into Emerald Forest, then return along pathways, so you can be at Paradise Cove in time for breakfast, registration and Plunge. You’re welcome to join this Walk whether you are plunging, watching from the beach, or only want to walk with us. Difficulty: Easy, Elevation change: approx. 45’
Program Hikes/Walks are FREE with park entry ($11/car). Meet at Main Office at 7:30am sharp, weather permitting (rain cancels).
At 9:00am, we will be leading a second walk around the south end of the lake to the 24-hour pier and campground area. Meet at Main Office at 9:00am sharp, weather permitting (rain cancels).
