Details:  This free, one-hour presentation and tour of Henry Mayo’s Women’s Unit is a unique opportunity for expectant parents and those planning a family soon to familiarize themselves with our hospital. A nurse from our Women’s Unit will take parents step-by-step through the birthing experience at our hospital, from pre-admission to discharge, answering any questions that come up, as best as she can, along the way. This presentation is followed by a firsthand tour of the unit, which includes, subject to availability, a labor and delivery room, a postpartum room, and a C-section operating room. This overview should give expectant parents a chance to experience the friendliness of our staff and their willingness to help them have the happy, secure, and relaxed birth experience that they desire.
