Holiday Craft Faire

Placerita Nature Center

Saturday, December 1 from 10am-3pm (and Sunday, December 2 from 10am-3pm)

Location:  Placerita Nature Center, 19152 Placerita Canyon Road, Newhall

Details:  Placerita Nature Center is hosting its annual Holiday Craft Faire.  Participants can create and decorate their own holiday wreaths, centerpieces, candles and ornaments using a large assortment of fresh-cut greenery, pinecones and other natural treasures.  Candle dipping and other crafts will be available for the children.  Entrance to the event is free; however, there is a reasonable charge for making the wreaths and other crafts.  Wreaths and Yule logs are $12 and up (depending on size) and crafts are $1-$3.  This is the Nature Center’s only fundraiser of the year and profits go towards care of the animals that are used for educational purposes and improvements and renovations to the Nature Center and the park grounds.
