The Santa Clarita Artists’ Association (SCAA) announces the 4th annual Summer Art Festival to run from July 9 through July 13. This event will be held at Tournament Players Club (TPC). The art festival is free and open to the public.
More than 100 pieces of art will be featured throughout the four days by over thirty-eight local artists, at 26550 Heritage View Ln. (Valencia Exit off Route 5), Valencia, CA 91381. For directions: Tel: 661.288.1995.
“We would like the public to view the art show anytime, and join our artists’ reception on Friday, July 13 from 4-7 pm. We’ll treat you to light appetizers and a no-host bar,” said Zony Gordon, event coordinator. “The exhibit is open everyday, from 9-6 pm, except Mondays. Artists will
provide live demonstrations in a wide variety of styles and media. You’re invited to look over their shoulders and ask questions.”
“Even though the golf course is private to members, the restaurant is open to the public for lunch and dinner, and the food is fabulous. People gravitate from the restaurant and golf course to see
high-quality art. We host corporate meetings, private parties, weddings, birthdays, celebrations and social events,” said Mike van der Goes, General Manager and Director of Golf.
In its 24th year with goals of Making Visual Art Visible, SCAA provides free art instruction to residents; participates in community events, awards scholarships for high school art students, and loans art to local medical offices and facilities to uplift the spirits of patients. See
