Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley is a volunteer organization for business and professional women that inspires women to live their dreams and encourages them to pass their good fortune on to others. They celebrate the unique power and accomplishments of women.
October is also Breast Cancer Awareness month and Myles had Mindy Burgess on the show who is a nurse the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Imaging Center.
1 in 8 women will get breast cancer in the United States and there needs to be more awareness. “You need to know your breasts,” Burgess said.
