            Welcome to Alive and Well with your host Karena Lineback and your Co-host Crystal Lacy Edwards, right here on your Home Town Station, AM 1220 KHTS.  So miss master of science, we have had a lot of scoliosis patients lately so you have really been working.    

            So I have been traveling all over the country, even all over the world.  We have been trying to do workshops all over the world, we tried Spain, but they booked me the same night as the royal wedding.  The scoliosis thing is very exiting, to see this many results, some kids are never ready for surgery.  I had one client who is a dancer, and she may never be ready for surgery.

            Anyway we have a really wonderful guest today, we have Sue Hitzman author of The Melt Method, welcome sue.  So tell us what is the melt method.  It started out as homework for my clients.  It has turned into a self treatment that will help you stay out of chronic pain.  It is not an exercise program, getting them to empower themselves and stay out of my office.  So I helped people to a point that instead of spending a lot of money seeing me every day, they have only come back two or three times after starting the melt method. 

            People today are using a lot of drugs and pain killers, today people need to find a way to get out of pain naturally with out using drugs, this is the answer to leave chronic pain. 

            Does this book help people identify chronic pain, or do they have to see you?  Well that is just it, I have been working for over twelve years to simplify it to a system called the four R’s of melt, the first R is Reconnect.  This is where people learn to asses for themselves, what is the problem in their own body.   Where stress is getting stuck in their body, then the other R’s are how to re balance their system, re-hydrate connective tissue which is the reason for chronic pain in general and finally, how to relive these places.
