Good Morning KHTS listeners. Hi my name is Gina Lamas and I am a fourth grader in Mrs. Chapman`s class at Bouquet Canyon Elementry School in the Saugus School District.
I`ll be reviewing the book Anne of Green Gables, written by Lucy Maud Montgomery. It is illastrated by MA Claus. It was written in 1908 and is 429 pages long.
This book is about two farm siblings who wanted to take-in an orphan boy from an orphanage to help around the farm. But by mistake they were sent an orphan girl named Anne. While Anne was livng with Matthew and Marilla she learned to get herself in lots of trouble and didn`t get along with the other kids at school. When Anne went to college, the second day there she got homesick and decided to visit home. At the end of the boook Matthew dies because of shock which led to a sudden heartattack. I like this book because Anne stays home with Marilla when Matthew dies. I think young readers would enjoy this book because it teaches the importance of being there for are friends and the people we love when times are hard.
Thank you. Have a nice day.
