Host: “We have Steve on the line. Tell us about your new album “Forgotten.”
Steve: “I played at several gatherings, and people asked me if I had CD’s for sale. I made this CD and it turned out really well. I appreciate the DJ’s who have played it. One of the songs is based on a poem I wrote about an old mare I have.”
Host: “Are there many cowboy poets on the east coast?”
Steve: “Not many. I know a few here and there, but they are few and far between.”
Host: “What would you like to have happen with cowboy poetry?”
Steve: “On the East Coast, cowboy poetry is unknown. There is no ranch community on this side of the country. There are only two poetry gatherings, I would love more gatherings and more publicity. That is what I am hoping for.
Host: “Who are some of your heroes?”
Steve: “First, my dad. He was a solid rock person I could always count on.”
