On Saturday, May 11th, the Agua Dulce Women’s Club along with Jack’s Angels Foundation hosted an art show featuring art from professional, student, and child artists. Net proceeds from the event will benefit brain tumor research at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. There were also raffles, silent auctions, art workshops, and live entertainment. Jack’s Angels was founded in honor of Jack Demeter who was diagnosed with a brain tumor and passed away last year before his 4th birthday. Jack’s Angels is a new organization and this was their first fundraiser. Each year over 4,200 children are diagnosed with brain tumors. Art for Jack sought to raise awarness of the need for more research into child brain tumors.
