With the threat of sky-rocketing gas prices College of the Canyons could not have picked a more appropriate time to hold their first annual Bikes and Bites event. Bikers rode on an 8-mile course that circled around; starting and ending at the College of the Canyon’s Canyon Country Campus. The event helped raise awareness of healthy living, exercise, and of the Canyon Country Campus. After biking 8 miles the bikers were greeted by various vendors, gourmet food trucks, and a fun area for kids and adults who want to be a kid. The College of the college of the Canyon mascot even made an appearance and cheered the bikers on at the start and finish.
