Throughout the state polling places staffed by volunteers opened to welcome primary election voters – including the folks running for office.
Current Congressman Howard “Buck” McKeon who is running for reelection to the 25th Congressional District showed up with his wife Patricia McKeon who is running for the 38th Assembly District to vote at the Hilton Garden Inn in Valencia.
Dr. Lee Rogers, candidate for the 25th Congressional District, cast his ballot at the Lost Canyons Golf Club in Simi Valley.
Paul Strickland, running for the 38th Assembly District, voted at the Valencia Lake Condominium Association Clubhouse in Valencia.
Edward Headington, running for the 38th Assembly District, was joined by his one year old son Narayan at Frost Middle School in Granada Hills.

At the Incarnation Community Center in Glendale, Los Angeles County 5th District Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich and his wife Christine cast their vote. They are accompanied by their children, Mary Christine and Michael, Jr..
