As attendees entered from the parking lot, they passed the “H20, Where Did You Go?” play, which stressed the importance of water through a two-man comedic performance for children.

Karen Denkinger, event coordinator for the CLWA, said the Open House provided an opportunity for Santa Clarita residents to learn new skills and become educated about water conservation.

“May is California water awareness month and every year in May [the CLWA has] an open house,” Denkinger said. “We want to bring water awareness and give people the tools they need to save water and help make them more aware of this precious resource.”
