A commercial being filmed on Rockwell Canyon Rd. will be altering traffic between Valencia Blvd and McBean Parkway until 9:00 p.m. tonight.

The production has not closed Rockwell Canyon Rd., however on-scene deputies are controlling traffic around the filming. This means that through traffic may be limited at times.

The production wraps tonight and will not impact traffic further.

Jessica Freude, with the city of Santa Clarita’s office of Economic Development, reports that the production was specifically planned to avoid interfering with College of the Canyons traffic. The school is currently on winter break.

As an alternate to Rockwell Canyon Rd., motorists can take McBean Pkwy or the I-5 freeway. Homeowners in the Summit community can use Singing Hills Dr. or Goldcrest Dr.
