Habitat for humanity is going to be a full enrichment of services. A village in itself, so many people have volunteered and put on their boots and gloves, got to work and channeled so much energy into this cause – giving vets a beautiful, loving home for the rest of their lives. Art can be a beautiful outlet for many vets, especially those coming home, having difficulty adjusting to civilian life, which is another culture shock in and of itself. Pamela is here telling us about “A Window Between Worlds” and linking Habitat for Humanity and Bowman High and the arts in our community all together. The Child and Family Center, the Action Family Zone, Pamela here and many more are contributing to using art therapy for vets and families. Anyone who works with the “Windows” Program will be positively affected. Habitatscv.org. We even have “Women Warriors” which is a treatment and program for returning women from combat. So many incredible programs are being tied together, creating marvelous results. There are several people working on set designs, 47 people going to be on stage, all the lighting people, and back stage workers, oh gosh its an enourmous project.

Now, Patti Finley is with us talking about all the amazing plans the Canyon Theatre Guild has. There is so much buzz going around concerning ‘Hair Spray’, it is insane! There is going to be free wine and champagne on opening night, there are still tickets for opening night! So come! have fun, tickets are quite reasonable, just call the box office. On top of that, we have classes for kids and teenagers at the CTG, and it is a great way for your kids to gain excellent life skills like communication and public speaking.

Now we have Gail Pinsker telling us about the 300 student show at the Hart auditorium. These students were phenomenal, we had a fuill house, all for the music of our most talented students. There is great enertainment with all of the kids from all of the schools in our valley. We have the honor band and so much more giong on.
