Goetz Home – May 2008

All Aboard To Castaic For The Goetz Home

 By Jason Endicott

Deep in the heart of Castaic, west of the 5 freeway and north of the 126, sits an almost rural area of Castaic that has been home to Dan and Debbie Goetz for 16 years. Dan, the President and CEO of  UltraViolet Devices Inc., his wife, and their entire family are also train enthusiasts. In fact, their large, open backyard has been transformed into a locomotive garden paradise, replete with a train set featuring two running trains, tunnels, bridges, and amazing landscaping. Scroll down for pictures of their house, as well as the train display out back!

Some pictures of the interior living areas- the Goetz are also avid animal lovers, as evidenced by two of their birds on display!

One of the side areas of the yard, lots of space to run around:

And now the train set. Look closely at some of the pictures- in some shots, the display almost looks real!
