Hart Girls Soccer Team Shuts Out Cleveland In Hart Tournament

sportshartThe Hart girls soccer team shut out Cleveland, 4-0, and tied Paraclete, 1-1, on the first day of the Hart tournament. Katie Trevino scored two goals in the game against Cleveland and scored the lone goal in the game against Paraclete.

Hart’s Megan Indermill and Kelli Goss also scored in the game against Cleveland.

 

The Hart tournament continues today with Hart playing Louisville.

The Canyon boys soccer team advanced to the semifinals of the La Canada tournament after a 2-0 shutout over Village Christian. Carlos Baragan and Mohammed Roknipour scored goals for Canyon. The Canyon boys will play Flintridge Prep in the semifinals of the tournament today.

In high school basketball, the Saugus girls beat Hawthorne, 65-24, in the Westlake Tournament in Beverly Hills. Jordan Oster scored 20 points for Saugus

The Saugus boys lost to Righetti, 72-52, in the Hart Tournament. Brad Buchignani scored 17 points for Saugus.

In college basketball, Garry Bradley scored 16 points and had nine rebounds in a 65-58 win over Ventura College in the Cougar Holiday Classic.
COC is in the consolation final and will play Orange Coast College today.

Chaffey plays Mira Costa College in the championship game of the Cougar Holiday Classic today at 5.
