Have you ever had such a bad report card that you had to hide it from your parents?
In the story, I Got a “D” in Salami by Henry Winkler and Lin Oliver, the author tells about a fourth grader named Hank Zipzer who fails Social Studies, Spelling, Reading, and Math but doesn’t want his parents to know. In the beginning of the story, the main characters Hank, Ashley Wong, Frankie Townsend, and a third grader named Robert are trying to hide Hank’s report card from Hank’s parents. Robert drops the report card in a meat grinder and it gets into Hank’s mother’s soy salami.
Will Hank and his friends get the report card back?
I enjoyed this book. It made me wonder what Hank would do next in the book. This book had parts that were really fun to read.
I recommend this book to people who like to read entertainment and laugh out loud books.
