Santa Clarita’s only local radio station, AM-1220 KHTS is looking for a photographer intern.  This position could be a fantastic gateway into the professional world of photography.  The job requires extensive use of Photoshop, and you will obviously need to know your way around your camera.

Our KHTS photographer interns will typically work as many as 20 hours a week, shooting events in the community. They are also sent out to cover breaking news events, like fires and accidents. Weekend work is a must for this position, as well as being “on call” in the event of an emergency.

Web knowledge is a plus, as this position will also require some use of a content management system for our website. Please only apply if you have at least some proficiency with Adobe Photoshop. This is an unpaid internship, with the possibility of expanding into paid work.

To be considered, candidates should possess:

A camera

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop

Strong communication skills

Strong attention to detail
