We’re excited to announce the launch of our new website here at AM-1220, KHTS, powered by Santa Clarita Web and IT!

A whole new design scheme has been implemented, and many of our popular features have been updated! Additionally, this new site allows us greater opportunities to bring even more great content to hometownstation.com.

Of course, you’re used to the old layout of hometownstation.com, so you may need a little a help getting around the first few days.

Getting Around:

The best way to get around our site is through the top menu, located near the top of the page, just below the KHTS logo. Most of these menu items expand to give you instant access to our features like News, Podcasts, Show Schedule and more.

What’s New:

A new front page news module allows you to see the first few lines and a picture in our top news stories before clicking into them. You can click on the story title, or select which story you want to read from the news headline list in the middle of the page.

We’ve added a whole new section specifically for our Exclusive Articles. This includes Our Hometown Stories with Rachel Singer, movie reviews, business news and more. Check out these articles by clicking on the “Exclusives” tab in the middle of the page.

The KHTS Community Calendar is now easily accessible from the home page, just scroll down!

Traffic and weather updates are on the home page now, in the upper right corner.

A special module on the homepage makes it easy to start live audio streaming or to listen to podcasts. This gateway is directly underneath the new module, and it expands when you roll your mouse over it.

What’s Coming:

In the next few weeks, we’ll be loading in a brand new blogging module! Check for that right next to the News and Exclusive Article portal on the home page.

We are working on a new ShopKHTS eCommerce section, which we hope will make it even easier to shop online for half-price certificates to great local businesses.
