Life Leadership with Alex Urbina – June 16, 2014

On today’s show, host Alex Urbina and co-host Wendy Amara sit down and talk about being in control. Being in control of your own life, and allow for something not in your control go.

You have to allow or surrender the situation that is out of your control and be okay with the results and be aware that you can’t change it no matter what and be okay with that.

There are certain things that you can and cannot control.

Often when I say surrender people say to themselves they why should I care, Alex said. But it is a process of helping you let go and allowing “what is” be “what is”.

You can not let or should not let yourself stay on a subject like being ten minutes late. Do not stay on the fact that your ten minutes late. Just say can you clean up being late or if you can make it up to the person. A lot of people get stuck on the being late fact and not do something about it.

Why would you resist something that already is?

In other words, something happened in your life, why do you try and change that. If something else was “supposed” to have happened it would have. Don’t get hung-up on what didn’t happen but accept what did and react and find a solution to move onto something else.
