From nhl.com:

Season series: The San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings split the first four games, most recently a 2-1 win by the Kings in the 2015 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series game at Levi’s Stadium on Feb. 21. Tommy Wingels has two goals and an assist and Brent Burns has a goal and two assists for the Sharks. Marian Gaborik, Anze Kopitar and Jake Muzzineach have a goal and an assist and Jeff Carter has two assists for the Kings. Jonathan Quick is 2-2-0 with a 2.50 goals-against average for Los Angeles, and Antti Niemi is 2-2-0 with a 1.78 goals-against average for San Jose.

Kings team scope: Los Angeles can get to 40 wins for the fifth time in six seasons with a win. Kopitar is set to lead the team in scoring for the eighth straight season. The Kings were eliminated from Stanley Cup Playoff contention with a 3-1 loss at the Calgary Flames on Thursday. They are the first defending Cup champions to miss the playoffs the following season since the Carolina Hurricanes in 2006-07, but are focused on finishing strong. “We’re still the defending champions and we’re going to play like champions,” coach Darryl Sutter said. Sutter won’t rest any players who are injured, saying, “there’s nobody right now that would be in that situation” other than defenseman Andrej Sekera, who is out with a lower-body injury.

Sharks team scope: San Jose, like Los Angeles, was eliminated from playoff contention but want to go out on a high note. “Both teams still have something to play for; they’re our rival,” forward Logan Couture said. “I’m sure the building will have some Sharks fans in it. We’re going to want to go out strong, and they’re going to want to go out strong too.” San Jose canceled its skate Friday, and lineup changes are unknown. Forward Bryan Lerg made his NHL debut on Thursday and got the game-winning goal in a 3-1 win against the Edmonton Oilers.
