And the current Mayor of Santa Clarita? – Laurene Weste, who took over from Frank Ferry on December 8, 2009. Our mayor rotates every year, as one of our five City Council members takes on that role. Next year’s Mayor will be Marsha McLean, who will take over the reigns in December 2010.
