Good morning KHTS listeners.  Hi, my name is Alexis Beltran and I am a fourth grader at Oak Hills Elementary School in the Newhall School District. 

I’ll be reviewing Meet Samantha written by Susan S. Adler and illustrated by Dan Andeasen.  It was written in 1986 and is 69 pages long.  

The story’s about a nine year old girl names Samantha.  She is an orphan that lives with her wealthy grandmother.  I like this book because it’s about a girl who is forced to be a young lady by her grandmother who she calls Grandmary.  The young readers would enjoy this book because it is interesting and a little bit funny.
