Being in a Networking group can be vital tool to the small business, large corporation, all the way down to the average joe. Doug and Ed discuss this issue and how to utilize this technique to brand yourself or your product in the most efficient and proficient way possible. For example, finding the right network of professionals and industry managers for can lead your business to ultimate success. Possibly even love, like Brandon K. Fried and Maura Corbett . Brandon is an entrepreneur who began his business helping the elderly in the Santa Clarita Valley, and through the years developed into a blossoming handyman service doing everything from artwork hanging, toilet repair, door installment, etc etc. However, one of the main reasons Brandon has reached success with his business, is because he has been vehemently meeting industry professionals at these local networking groups. Eventually, by going to these meetings he even met his significant other, Maura, whose father created Copper Eagle Patrol and now she works with the company. She has even helped the community by giving speeches on how to probably defend your home and protect your family. For example, Maura Corbett even teaches workshops on how to properly use a taser, the differences between varying competitors and also is involved in classes geared towards protecting women.
