Doug started off ‘Mind Your Own Business’ talking about how networking can introduce small businesses (struggling or successful) to other essential clients and business partners. For example, by going to the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce, Randy Burzynski, the owner of Fast Frame Valencia has befriended and learned from so many other business owners, that his shop is a staple of success in the community. Randy does so much to revitalize his franchise, one of which is running several different kinds of art contests. For three years in a row, in fact, their kid’s art contest has reigned victorious – meaning out of all the Fast Frame’s in the nation, Santa Clarita’s children are getting the recognition. This is all thanks to Randy’s techniques at marketing and utilizing the mind of the Fast Frame’s Headquarters to his local benefit. Randy’s role model is his wife, who he actually runs his business with, one of the best decisions he has ever made. Ed’s next guest was Rudy Rodriguez who runs Clear View Janitorial. Randy tried his hand at answering Ed’s barage of intense house cleaning questions, like, “what can guys do to keep their significant others happy” and “how many pillows are necessary for a happy home”? Without Doug on the show, Ed was really able to grill his guests and discover the down and dirty info into the world’s they occupy. In fact, Ed even discussed with Rudy how to keep one’s home as clean as possible with his many tips and tricks, like how to perfect your windows to maintain that special sparkle.
