Alright, enlighten the listeners as to why you were late to our meeting. I had an urgent request to handle some business concerning my booking agency, because I am an agent, I have to do a lot things on the spot, mundane or exciting, it is always urgent. Now this client that needed my help, you may have heard of her, her name is Pat Benatar. but Bob Newheart, who is going to have a recurring role on Big Bang Theory is also another client of mine. Johnny Mathis and Al Green, those are some others, and I keep the boring business side of their lives under control so they can work as much as they want to, on whatever they want to.

Now we know some people will have more outrageous personalities than others, some will even grow with you and become friends – but where and when do you draw the line and stay professional? Well Kenny Loggins once even told Chris Burk, that he explicitly wanted an agent who was not a “Yes Man”, he wanted someone who told the truth. That is my personality anyway, so we have a great relationship, and were friends. However, I keep a very professional attitude when it comes to the business of entertainment.

So now we have our first guest, Scott Parish. Scott is the COO of Alcon Entertainment and deals with agents like Chris Burke. Now Scott’s perspective is different, he has to deal with managing the agent’s client, so this tug of war happens with the client, between the agent and his manager or producers or etc etc. Some of the big ones that Alcon was involved with are Blindside, Dolphin Tale, and more.

Now we have Roger Brooks with Golden Valley High School. Roger is the Band Director, and coincidentally, Chris’s son Ryan is actually in Roger’s program. Now tell yus about this Storage Wars thing. Well the Band is always in need of resources and donation, grants etc etc. Well, we got a grant of some basses and guitars, but the deal was to be on the show however. Fenderquire, and over 40 of them too, it was a real blessing.
