Mind Your Own Business with Doug and Ed– Friday, July 12, 2013
Doug, Ed, and T Lo cracked open their show this week with an unfortunate, but significant update. The owner of U-Wash Doggie (the premier animal wash and pamper environment in Santa Clarita) has suffered a major blow to their family. While away from his home, their puppy ran away, and now the owner is asking everyone in the Santa Clarita Valley to keep a watchful eye for his beloved canine family member. If anyone has been through a similar situation, they will know the painful heartache their family is going through. They next brought Jen Brown to speak about her business Surfaces USA and how she has been supplying the Santa Clarita Valley with all things related to countertops, surfaces, and more. She helps her clients breathe fresh air into their homes, lives, and really anything with a surface. After her amazing radio debut, the Mind Your Own Business crew brought Taylor and Chris from SCV Book Exchange. This unique business was created by Taylor and his Father, who originally planned a small return in profits, that actually developed into a huge bolstering money bucket. What they do, is sell used books, buy books, and even rent books to the students of Santa Clarita Valley, and at a much cheaper price than that of the College of the Canyons Bookstore for example.
