Newhall School District Kindergarten Programs for the 2013-2014 School Year

Kindergarten in California is now a two-year program, starting with Transitional Kindergarten (TK) classes. Transitional Kindergarten addresses the needs of younger students using a modified kindergarten curriculum that is age and developmentally appropriate.  Transitional Kindergarten students have their own standards, curriculum, and report card.  Students then move to a traditional Kindergarten classroom in the second year of their school experience.
