Enrollment packets for Newhall School District’s 2014-15 transitional kindergarten and kindergarten program will be available at Newhall School District schools on Monday, February 10, 2014. Children turning five years old between September 2 and December 2 of this year will be enrolled in transitional kindergarten and children turning five on or before September 1^st of this year will enroll in kindergarten. Transitional kindergarten (TK) is the first year of a two-year kindergarten program that uses a modified kindergarten curriculum that is age and developmentally appropriate.

Enrollment packets include all necessary forms and provide health requirements, birth certificate information, and residency requirements for registration.

Transitional kindergarten and kindergarten registration will occur on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at each of the school sites except for Meadows School, which will hold its registration on Friday, March 14th. Hours of registration vary from site to site. Please contact the school office for exact times.
