Placerita Junior High School Puts On Civil War Day

Members of the 5th New York Civil War Volunteer Infantry demonstrated marching and firing techniques from the Civil War for Santa Clarita Valley students Friday.  Eighth-graders at Placerita Junior High School enjoyed the school’s annual tradition of a Civil War Day, said Cynthia Ross, one of the teacher-organizers.
