On today’s show Bill discussed the events around the Santa Clarita Valley. Events that celebrates the diversity of the Santa Clarita Valley.
Bill recapped the Cinco de Mayo festival. “It was great but the wind almost turned it to a bad event but it was great and there was music, food, and just a good time.”
When talking about what is going on in Santa Clarita, you have to talk to the man and former Mr. SCV man of the year, Carl Goldman.
Carl Goldman Talks about KHTS’s Sacramento Road Trip…
Looking into Our Valleys magazine, there is a big spread with the Sacramento Road Trip that KHTS put together.
“With this trip we can bring Santa Clarita to Sacramento and talk about the key issues that affect our valley,” Carl said.
It is a great way to get business, education, and others to come together and see how government works for us hands on.
“The amazing thing is that no other community does this,” Carl said. “Santa Clarita is unique.”
KHTS Is Planning A Washington DC Trip On May 20th…
Now KHTS is going to the capitol as the KHTS Washington DC trip is coming up next week.
You and Jeri should be commended for what you do and what you bring to this Valley and community, said Bill.
But beyond what people might expect from a radio station, you have taken it beyond that.
