The Governor’s Office of Emergency Services has partnered with U.S. Small Business Administration to provide relief to Los Angeles County residents after a request from State Senator Sharon Runner and Assemblyman Tom Lackey.

In response to the devastating flooding and mudslides that occurred across Los Angeles County on Oct 15, 2015, the U.S. Small Business Administration, or SBA, has opened a Disaster Loan Outreach Center in the Antelope Valley.
SBA declared a disaster in Los Angeles County in response to a request from Governor Brown’s Office of Emergency Services.
“Many of my constituents throughout the Antelope Valley and Los Angeles County are still dealing with the aftermath of the severe flooding and mudslides,” said Runner. “I am thankful the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services and U.S. Small Business Administration understood the gravity of the situation and are stepping in to provide much needed assistance.”
The SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center makes low interest federal disaster loans available to businesses and residents to help finance recovery with no appointment necessary.
SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center is located at 827 East Avenue Q9 in the city of Palmdale, the site of the former Public Safety Department.
The hours of operation for the outreach center are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
For Thanksgiving, the center closes at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25 and reopens at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30.
The center will close on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m.
Applicants may also apply online using the Electronic Loan Application, or ELA, via SBA’s secure website.
