Several thousand visitors were “roped in” to the Western way of life over the weekend at the 18th annual Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival at Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio in Placerita Canyon. Along with a variety of Western vendors, guests enjoyed barbecue and fruit cobbler from the food court while musicians, gunslingers, bands and poets entertained from several stages around the ranch.
