To start off Doug Sutton and John Rogers’ Santa Clarita Gazette and Free Classifieds Radio Hour, Doug decided to rant about a few new topics. Seeing as it was capitalism’s most prized expenditure/financial opportunity last Wednesday (the December holiday season) Doug could not resist the urge to explain how irritating and problematic people can be in that trying and stressful season. For example, Doug noted that the President of the United States took a vacation in a very luxurious and expensive fashion. Doug is a hardline conservative, and lives his life by the political standards he values. One of those political standards happens to be modesty and responsibility, which the owner of the Santa Clarita Gazette and Free Classifieds firmly believes President Barack Obama does not excersize. This reality has shaken Doug to his core, unrooted him from his pleasant and serene perspective of swift judgement and decisive action. The President’s spending habits have driven Doug to his breaking point, and he ultimately had to let loose on the airwaves – venting his problem to the Santa Clarita Valley, America, and even the Earth itself. Once Doug took a deep breath, and John Rogers cooly helped Doug calm down and relax, they actually had a pleasant and joyous conversation with the two women who help them stay afloat. No, not their wives, but in fact: Miss Classifieds AKA Barbara and Miss Entertainment AKA Michele. The women run a significant portion of the Santa Clarita Gazette and Free Classifieds, and Doug was moved by their caring and loving passion for helping the Santa Clarita Community. And after their segment, John even managed to get Doug Sutton’s son, Taylor Sutton, on the line to talk about life in America.
