Doug Sutton and John Rogers began their latest addition of the Santa Clarita Gazette and Free Classified Radio Show with a very sombering, yet educational first segment. Doug had received a colonoscopy over the weekend, and actually had to remove some polyps, which were fortunately, noncancerous. With his new peace of mind, he took the opportunity this afternoon to adamantly promote getting a colonoscopy if you have colon cancer in your family, or over 50 years old because while most polyps are benign, they can turn cancerous after a few years. Colon cancer is known as a silent killer because it is very preventable, but can unfortunately take lives if ignored. After their talk on health in the rant, Doug Sutton and John Rogers brought Barbara AKA Miss Entertainment and Michelle AKA Miss Entertainment to break down all the results from Canyon Country Magazine’s “Best In Canyon Country” awards, which have residents of Canyon Country vote on their favorite places to shop, eat, dine and more. After the ladies got off air, Mr. Music, also known as Chris Burke, the famed musical artist manager of several bands, and singers worldwide came on to talk about all the new and exciting events coming up. From Kenny Loggins, to B.B. King, to the Bengals, and even the Eagles – there is always something exciting in the mix with Chris Burke.
