Doug Sutton began his latest edition of the Santa Clarita Gazette Radio Hour with nothing less than the most tantalizing and slightly terrifying rant he has ever belted on air. What separates this rant from all his other previous heartaches on air, is the fact that his co host John Rogers was absent. For better or worse, Doug Sutton decided to bring returning guest Chris Burke from William Morris Endeavors, or WME as his co host for the afternoon. Chris Burke is a seasoned talent agent who has a long list of high end, famous clients including, but not limited to: Pat Benatar, Kenny Loggins and Tom Petty. Chris Burke took a deceptively dark opportunity to fuel Doug with more ranting firewood during his already passionate tirade. For example, Doug’s main issue this week was how as an advertiser, Doug relies on all opportunities to get his name out where people can see – unfortunately, in the City of Santa Clarita, there are very specific ways in which a business or individual can do that. This led to Doug’s complaint, the issue of billboards versus hired costumed advertisers on street corners. Doug absolutely cannot stand the fact that someone can dress up as a crow or the statue of liberty and conclusively take away business advertising. Chris Burke took every opportunity to bash Doug and explain that he is the most pent up, angry individual he has ever met. And Chris has met an awfully large amount of people in his career, most of which, were pretty busy, mad and stressed. After the famous Sutton rant, the Santa Clarita Gazette Radio Hour Hosts brought on Kevin White from On Stage Talent Group to discuss the all the hidden backstage activities that go on in show business. Chris Burke and Doug Sutton also spoke with Miss Gazette about the latest listing in the Santa Clarita Gazette and Free Classifieds and also Mr. Sports about everything sports related in the Santa Clarita Community and professional industry.
