SCV Arbor Day 2012
(Story and Photos by Gabie Cardenas)
The 2012 City of Santa Clarita Earth Arbor Day Celebration, presented by the SCV Family of Water Suppliers, took place Saturday, April 14, at Central Park. Perfect event for a family, was meant to raise awareness of environmental issues in our community, and was filled with live music, good food, family friendly activities and giveaways. The free trees, bags of mulch and many other giveaways and activities encourage our citizens to get out, get gardening and enjoy life.
Bellow are some images from the day that help tell the story.
