The City of Santa Clarita will host a public meeting to discuss proposed improvements to Pacific Crest Park at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in the multi-purpose room at Mountain View Elementary School located at 22201 Cypress Place.
Pacific Crest Park was annexed by the City in the North Copper Hill annexations in late 2012. Currently, the five-acre neighborhood park, which was constructed by the County of Los Angeles, features a playground and turf. The City is in the process of adding a restroom facility, per request from residents, and other amenities such as upgrades to the walkway and drainage, and a decorative fence along the park frontage.
Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting in order to discuss the proposed improvements and meet the Project Architect and Project Manager.
“One of the most appreciated amenities for residents in Santa Clarita is the beauty and availability of our parks,” said Mayor Marsha McLean. “This is an ideal opportunity to transform a newly annexed park into something even more enjoyable for the North Copper Hill community for years to come.”
