The SCV Latino Chamber of Commerce Show – April 3, 2013
Bill Miranda and Patsy Ayala were at it again this month to help motivate, educate, and inspire young and not so young people in our valley.
Bill and Patsy started the show talking about health and wellness. Bill was given some advice from Dr. Shahe’ Topjian, D.C. Ph.D, ACN, CCWFN, of the Natural Health Improvement Centre in the San Fernando Valley, who could not be in studio today. Dr. T gave Bill some tips to read on the air. His tip was we need to eat more fruits and vegetables and drink more water. You can hear all of his tips by listening to the whole podcast.
Dr. Joan Lucid Superintendent of the Saugus Union School District also stopped by the program to talk about the school district. She talked about coming to Santa Clarita in 1980 when the Saugus Union School District was much smaller. Now the Saugus Union School District has 15 schools and close to 10,000 students.
Guillermo J. Gonzalez Agent at New York Life and Candelario “Kenny” Crespo, Senior Associate at New York Life Insurance Company also stopped by the program to talk about insurance. They talked about the importance of insurance for you and your family. They also talked about how there are great career opportunities with New York Life.
Robert Reyes from Reyes Winery also stopped by to talk about the many events that they are putting on.
