SCV Moms Blog – Neighbor To Neighbor

Eat, Drink and Make a Difference

SCV Moms Blog launches “Neighbor-to-Neighbor” campaign at December 4th Mojito event

Job loss, health challenges and personal circumstances can bring a family to its knees. But oftentimes, those same families struggle silently, afraid to reach out for help. SCV Moms Blog is on a personal mission to assist those in our community facing that daily battle. Whether it be helping to put food on the table by teaming up with the SCV Food Pantry or connecting families with the resources they need, SCVMB members are committed to making a difference right here in the Santa Clarita Valley.

To kick off the Neighbor-to-Neighbor crusade, family-owned Mojito Cuisine is hosting the first-ever SCV Moms Blog LIVE event on December 4, 2009. Members will enjoy a free buffet, happy hour-priced drinks and a special fundraising SCV Mom Mojito, with one dollar from the sale of each drink going back to help local families.

To RSVP to the December 4th event at Mojito, log on to SCVMomsBlog.com.

Donations of gift cards from local restaurants, cleaning and babysitting services, toothbrushes, food items like canned meats, macaroni and cheese, cash contributions, etc. can be arranged for pickup. Contact Jackie MacDougall and Andrea Pohlot at (661) 480-MOMS or SCVMomsBlog@gmail.com for more information.
