- Mistake #1: errors. Any grammatical, spelling or typographical errors will get your resume thrown out immediately.
- Mistake #2: making your resume hard to look at. Your resume needs to be pleasing to the eye. Make sure there is plenty of “white” space with adequate margins; keep your font between 9 and 12 points.
- Mistake #3: providing inappropriate personal information. Do NOT include any personal information, including pictures, marital status, age or number of children.
- Mistake #4: Using I, my or me. Write from the 1st person point-of-view, but never include personal pronouns such as: I, my or me.
