            Welcome to the Senior Hour here on your Hometown Station, AM 1220 KHTS.  This is a show for about and by seniors, giving you information about how to improve your quality of life.    

            Speaking about quality of life, our first guest is Dr. Thomas Polucki who is a chiropractor.  Later we will have Bill Lively, an attorney who will be talking about our up coming celebrity diner event this Saturday.  

            We do a lot of things at the senior center.  Today we will be having a fencing demonstration.  Like the three musketeers dueling swards.  When you do that, you have to increase your movablility and fencing is a very active sport.  Everyone is invited, not just seniors.  It will be at 4:30 pm.  No mater what you think about three musketeers, the swards and the movement you have to have is worthy of those who might want to think about it, and it is a great core exercise.  It sounds like an amazing class and I want to be a part of it.  I do martial arts, and that can be one of the highest forms of meditation there is.

            When you are trying to be physical and exercises, it gets boring.  When I used to run at the high school track, I would bring a ball so I had something to kick around.  I think that trying not to be slashed is something that would motivate you to keep moving.  When you are fencing, we are just occupying our brain in a different way giving us the exercise that we really need.  I love it when you need to think about the exercise so much you are not pre occupied by something else, it just works so well. 

            When training for football in high school, we where made to run along the beach because running in sand is such a good exercise.

            Our guest today is Dr. Thomas Poluki.  I am going to take a novel thing today.  We normally talk about everything medical, but we have never talked about Chiropractics.  And that is strange because I am a chiropractor.
