Late-night robber disappears without a trace.

The
Shell Station on Soledad Canyon Road
near Galeton Road in Canyon Country was held
up Thursday night, according to Sheriff’s Lt. Mark Hershey.

Around 11:22 p.m., a Caucasian man walked into the
station’s cashier area and brandished a handgun, demanding cash. After the
clerk turned over $140, the man disappeared into the night.

No vehicle
description was available and no one was injured in the robbery. The suspect is
still at large.
